Consultants for Children, LLC provides experienced Educational Consultants that are available to
support families and/or school districts on an individual basis. We understand that sometimes the individual members of an IEP team might not be on the same page and may need a third party to assist in the problem solving process. The Educational Consultants have vast background knowledge and
experience with IDEA, IEP, 504 plans, ADAA, Manifestation Determinations, and IFSP's. The Educational Consultants provide the following services and more:

The Educational Consultant can meet with you prior to the IEP meeting and help you prepare to collaborate with the team.
Meeting Support -
We are happy to be a positive collaborator to ensurepositive outcomes within the IEP process and assist in understanding all perspectives on the team.
Many times after a very important meeting questions arise, additional meetings need to be set, and/or new concerns present themselves. We offer the option to review the IEP meeting with you and come up with a plan that works for the whole team.

What people are saying
“I just wanted to extend my THANK YOU’s to you for completing the training today. I probably go to 20ish trainings a year between different departments and this was hands down one of the best trainings I have been to. I walked into that training hoping to provide staff with an extensive list of examples on what they could do to help solve a problem with a child. What I ended up learning (and I seriously had the biggest “Light Bulb” moment) was that I really just needed to train them to think how I would think through it. By asking the question WHY. Which is always the first question I ask myself. It was kind of funny that it all just hit me today. It never occurred to me that, that’s what I do. But you helped remind me of that. I also gained a lot of good techniques/ideas from your training. I got back to work and started looking through my information and found so many helpful tools/phrases to share with my counselors. I also learned good ways to train my camp staff. I seriously have notes all over your handout with ideas and techniques! I’m really excited about that.
I just really wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you taking the time to come and talk to us and how great of a training it was.”

“Rachel and Susan get this. The workshop held this past weekend was Awesome. Definitely made us think of how to strive for inclusion in any setting and how to help with that. Really liked the out of the box thinking and the thought of getting it off the paper! Keep your eyes out for these workshops - they are not to be missed!”
